Why did you become an architect?
I have always been interested in many different disciplines, such as technology, design, philosophy, sociology and art. They all come together in architecture making it the most complete discipline. On the other hand it is fascinating what a huge impact it has on our lives. Everything we live is affected or influenced by architecture. Because of this, doing architecture turns your job into something really exciting.
Why did you decide to come to Sweden?
I wanted to start my working career abroad. I was not thinking about Sweden particularly, although it was one of the options. After one year here, I can say I would choose Sweden again. It is very interesting to analyze the way architecture is done here compared to Spain, and of course the differences in work in general, culture and way of life.
What is your dream project?
Every project that improves people’s lives and make a difference are dream projects. It doesn’t matter how big or small it is, but the consequences of it. Sustainability and solving problems in the form of architecture are always the best challenges to take on at the beginning of each project.
