One of the first things that strikes you about the Smaragden (‘Emerald’) development is the greenery. It’s found everywhere, from the adjacent urban forest to the entire building, from the ground up. Several of the 114 apartments in the six floor building have private rooftop terraces or patios with large planters for vegetables or other vegetation.
The complex is surrounded by a large, green common terrace with space for socializing and a view of the tennis courts next door. The ground level houses a sushi and a Greek restaurant as well as two padel tennis courts with bleachers.Emerald was designed with active, young professionals in mind. The modern micro dwellings are between 23 and 48 square meters with large glass windows that open completely to let in the fresh air.
With an abundance of natural light and greenery, it’s easy to fall in love with Emerald living. We are proud to have created such a unique living environment in Uppsala, proving that home is so much more than the four walls you occupy.
