In Sweden we rarely stand out with our homes. With Inspiration Rosendal we put the city on the world stage for future living and the project has already attracted international attention. Is there really a running track on the roof? A basketball court? A rooftop terrace? Yes, all of this and much more is available to residents of Inspiration Rosendal. Our goal with this project was to create an affordable place that inspires creative thinking and an active lifestyle. A place where people can cultivate their relationships…and their vegetables.
We created 344 designer apartments of between 27 and 90 square meters. The majority of the apartments in this unique living concept are studios with a ceiling height of 3.7 meters throughout and a loft size of approximately 14 square meters. All apartments have a large picture window framed in solid larch wood, which provides natural light up to the sleeping loft. Flooring is ash parquet, accented by white walls. Three winter gardens in each corner of the building improve the indoor climate and attract natural light. Spacious stairwells are designed as green and bright winter gardens with space for socializing and informal gatherings.
When creativity flows, new opportunities arise. This idea is reflected to perfection in the complex’s unique rooftop garden with cafe and restaurant as well as a running track, basketball court and our own rooftop ‘staircase in the sun’.
